KSCA-ACUK Inter-School Cricket Tournament: Mahendra Kumar shines for Marimallappa HS

An inspiring all-round performance by Mahendra Kumar (55 &four for 21) helped Marimallappa HS to register a 55-run win over Manasasarovar Pushkarni HS and enter the final of KSCA-ACUK Inter-School Cricket Tournament match played at the SDNR Wadiyar Stadium, here recently. In the other semi-final, a decent performance by Hridhay A. Singhavi (60 & two for 15) enabled Excel Public School to register a good seven wicket win over Sadvidya HS. The finals between Marimallappa HS and Excel Public school will be played on Thursday at SDNR Wadiyar grounds. Scores Semi-finals: Marimallappa HS 178 in 26.1 overs (Mahendra Kumar 55, Md. Tejas 58, Gagan R. Patil 3 for 28, Hridhay A. Singhavi 2 for 15) lost to Excel Public School 121 for 3 in 24.3 overs (Hridhay A. Singhavi 60, Varun Madyalkar 31).
