Mandya: This is for the first time after a gap of four years the water levels in the reservoirs are reaching maximum level as rain continued to lash the catchment areas. The water level has reached 115.20 feet (on Wednesday at 8 am) in KRS near Srirangapatna in Mandya district against its full level of 124.80 feet and the inflow is recorded at 35,698 cusecs. There is an outflow of 3,658 cusecs.

The authorities are hopeful that the reservoir would reach the full level this year. The last time it happened was in 2013.
