Mandya / Mysuru: Thanks to copious rains in the catchment areas in Kodagu, water level at the Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) Dam in Mandya is reaching the 100 feet mark. According to the statistics provided by Cauvery Neeravari Nigama Limited (CNNL), water level this morning stood at 99.65 feet as against a maximum level of 124.80 feet.

The Live Capacity (usable or potable water) of the Dam as on  this morning stands at 14,159 Million Cubic Feet and the Gross Capacity (usable plus silt-mixed water) stands at 22,538 Million Cubic Feet. The dam has recorded an inflow of 12,233 cusecs and an outflow of 8,090 cusecs. Last year, on Sept. 3, the dam recorded 93.24 feet water with Live Capacity of 9,583 Million Cubic Feet and Gross Capacity of 17,962 Million Cubic Feet. Last year, there was an inflow of 3,534 cusecs and an outflow of 1,835 cusecs.
