Mandya: Maintaining that there is no threat to the stability of KRS Dam, stone quarry owners have alleged that attempts are going on to place hurdles for quarrying in Mandya district.
Addressing a press meet here yesterday, Quarry Owners Association General Secretary Nataraj, said that mining is an industry and we are not for or against any political leader. Pointing out that quarrying is going on for decades, he contended that quarrying used to take place even before the construction of KRS Dam.
