Mysore/Mysuru: KR MLA S.A. Ramdas asserted that ‘Namma Clinics’ will come up across the Constituency soon, as announced in this year’s State Budget. He was speaking at ‘Central and State Budget debate and ASHA workers felicitation programme' organised at his office in Vidyaranyapuram here on Sunday.
Underlining the role of ASHA workers in serving the society during the COVID pandemic, Ramdas said that the importance of ASHA workers came to the limelight when the crisis broke out. Maintaining that the State Government has allotted a good amount of money for the health sector, the MLA said that measures have been taken for ensuring that the health services announced in the State Budget are introduced efficiently. He further said that many health initiatives such as Matruvandana, POSHAN and Integrated Health scheme have been implemented successfully in the constituency.
