Madikeri: Kodagu girl B.K. Sinchana, a student of BGS Public School in Madenadu here, has made an attempt to enter Guinness Book of World Records for standing in ‘Dimbasana’ pose for 30 minutes and 5 seconds overcoming the previous record of 30 minutes and 3 seconds set by 32-year-old Stefanie Millinger of Austria.
In an event jointly organised by Kodagu Journalists Association and Rotary Misty Hills Madikeri, Sinchana successfully attempted to enter the record books. The official Guinness record will, however, be confirmed later. Following her feat, she was felicitated and presented with an appreciation certificate.
