Mysuru: City’s third District and Sessions Court yesterday adjourned the hearing on the anticipatory bail plea of the accused in the alleged KHB land acquisition scam, to Jan.4. Yesterday, Government Special Public Prosecutor Muthamma filed objection to the anticipatory bail plea, citing that prima facie, it is found that farmers have bean cheated in payment of compensation, with middlemen pocketing money and there were high chances of the accused destroying evidence if they were granted bail.
The Judge, who heard arguments from both the sides, adjourned the hearing to Jan.4.
