Kasaragod: Two dolls from the internationally renowned Sri Gopalakrishna Yakshagana Bombeyaata Sangha, Kasaragod, has been selected to be displayed at a museum in America. The dolls will be displayed at the Centre for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, California. The museum here has dolls from various countries representing their culture. The two dolls, Dushasana and Abhimanyu, which represent the most beautiful Yakashagana art form from the Karavali region in Karnataka has found a place in the museum. Association Director and Pradhana Sutradara K.V. Ramesh has designed the dolls and President of UNIMA (International Puppetry Association) Dadi Pudmjee has transported the dolls to the museum.
