Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) will be conducting the KAS re-exam for appointment of 384 gazetted probationers (Group A and B posts) on Dec. 29. Written exam for the appointment of gazetted probationers was held in August last. As there were errors in Kannada translation of question papers, it had drawn criticism from several quarters. Subsequently, CM Siddaramaiah had directed the KPSC to conduct the re-exam by the end of this year and accordingly, the re-exam is now taking place on Dec. 29. The re-exam will be held on a single day on Dec. 29, with Paper-1 to take place from 10 am to 12 noon and Paper-2 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
