The Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations will be held at JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru on Nov. 9 at the IS Seminar Hall in the Campus. Renowned musician and cultural icon of Zee Kannada’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,’ D. Suchetan Rangaswamy, known for his significant contributions to Karnatak music and cultural promotion, will be the chief guest.
Dr. A.N. Santosh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, JSS STU, will preside. Prof. S. A. Dhanaraj, Registrar, Dr. C. Nataraju, Principal (I/C) and Dean of Engineering and Technology, Dr. M.N. Nagendra Prasad, Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni Engagements, Dr. Vanishri Arun, Associate Dean of Academic (Publications) and Staff Co-ordinator of the Editorial Board will be present. The event will begin with a flag hoisting ceremony at SJCE Quadrangle at 10.30 am, followed by inauguration at 11 am. Afternoon activities include a Kannada Cinema Quiz, featuring trivia from popular Kannada films and Kannada Quiz competition, focused on Karnataka’s culture and language.
