Mysuru: K.V. Shankaragowda Samaja Seva Awards will be presented by Adamya Rangashale in memory of former Minister K.V. Shankaragowda, who was honoured with the title ‘Nitya Sachiva’ by Kuvempu, during a function to be held at Kiru Rangamandira in city tomorrow at 5.30 pm, said Adamya Rangashale Founder-Secretary Chandra Mandya, hereyesterday. Addressing presspersons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan, he said that the awards will be presented to senior journalist C.K. Mahendra, Srirangapatna Dy.SP Shanthamallappa, Karnataka Rajya Hindulida Vargagala Jagrutha Vedike President K.S. Shivaramu, Department of Treasury Additional Director V. Bhayalakshmi, Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) President K.B. Lingaraju, Script Writer Lokeshgowda and Entrepreneur Sanjay Hebbar by MLA G.T. Devegowda.
The programme will be inaugurated by Suyog Hospital Chairman Dr. S.P. Yoganna. University of Mysore former Syndicate Member Dr. E.C. Ningaraj Gowda will preside. Adamya Rangashale Hon. Secretary T. Satish Javaregowda will deliver the felicitation address. Superintendent of Police (Internal Security) Dr. A.N. Prakash Gowda, Sri Adichunchanagiri Educational Trust Administrative Officer Dr. A.T. Shivaram and Paduvarahalli Gramabhyudaya Trust President Mellahalli Mahadeva- swamy will be the chief guests.
