K.M. Sumathi (36), daughter-in-law of retired Assistant Director of Collegiate Education and Special Officer at Vidya Vikas Institutions C. Ramanna, passed away on Thursday at a private hospital in Bengaluru following brief illness. A resident of Sampige Road in Kuvempunagar, she was serving as the Assistant Director at the Fisheries Department in Srirangapatna.
Daughter of Retired Assistant Sub-Inspector Maligegowda of Hassan, she leaves behind her husband Dr. R. Raghavendra, a guest lecturer at the Department of Journalism in Maharaja’s College, son Guhan and a host of relatives and friends.
