Mysuru: JSS Mysore Urban Haat will be hosting ‘Gandhi Shilp Bazaar’ handicrafts exhibition for 10 days from Nov.17 to Nov. 26. The exhibition will be inaugurated today at 4 pm at the JSS Mysore Urban Haat in Hebbal by Dr. Rajvir Pratap Sharma, ADGP and Managing Director, Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., Bengaluru. Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha will preside. S.P. Manjunath, Secretary-I, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, P. Shivashankar, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Mallikarjunaiah, Regional Director (Southern Region), Ministry of Textiles, Chennai, Dr. C. Ranganathaiah, Director (P&D), JSS Technical Education Division and Sashidhar, Assistant Director, Handicraft Marketing and Service Extension Centre, Mysuru, will be the chief guests. Craftsmen from all over the country are coming together to create an impressive line-up of beautiful crafts for Mysureans at the ‘Gandhi Shilp Bazaar-2017’ being organised by Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi in association with JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru.
