Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER, Deemed to be University), Mysuru, is hosting the Sports Nutrition Innovation Exhibit titled ‘The Athlete’s Cycle: From Fuel to Recovery’ on Nov. 17 from 11.30 am to 4 pm.
The event, to be held at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, JSS AHER, M.G. Road Campus, will offer a 360-degree exploration of the athlete’s journey, specifically highlighting the precision and timing of nutritional interventions-pre-fuelling, support during the event and post-exertion recovery-essential for performance improvement.
Spearheaded by the Post-Graduate students of M.Sc Sports Nutrition and Management, the exhibit aims to foster innovation and demonstrate the practical application of Sports Nutrition Science.
The programme is convened by Dr. K.A. Raveesha and chaired by Dr. P. Vanitha Reddy.
It welcomes a diverse audience including Sports Nutritionists, Physiotherapists, Clinicians, Fitness Trainers, Athletes and Enthusiasts.
