Mysuru: University of Mysore (UoM) Registrar Prof. R. Rajanna, reacting to the allegation of Journalism Department Assistant Professor Dr. N. Mamatha that she had not been given ‘Probationary Period Letter,’ said that it was nothing but a conspiracy against him.

Dr. Mamatha had staged a dharna in front of UoM Vice-Chancellor’s Chambers on Monday alleging that she had not been given ‘Probationary Period Letter.’ In relation to this, Prof. Rajanna addressed the media in front of B.M. Shri Auditorium in Manasagangothri yesterday and had said that according to law, she has to submit ‘Probationary Period Declaration’ application. However, she had not submitted any application, he alleged.
