Mysore/Mysuru: JITO Mysore Ladies Wing celebrated Sankranti and winter festival in a unique fashion at Mysore Pinjrapole Society by organising a programme titled ‘Winter Haldi and Sankranti - Do Sanskritiyonka Milan’ on Jan. 22.
The colourful event was marked with traditional dancing of Ghoomar and a lavish winter lunch prepared with Haldi (Turmeric) as the main ingredient. There were 225 ladies and 60 children participants.
