In order to ward off any threats from BJP’s ‘Operation Lotus’, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy (HDK) has called a JD(S) Legislature Party (LP) meeting here on Apr.28. Kumaraswamy, who became alert after Congress MLA from Belagavi, Ramesh Jarkiholi, raised a banner of revolt yet again recently, aims to keep the flock of his JD(S) Legislators. Kumaraswamy is said to have received tip-offs on some of his party Legislators’ likely defection once the LS poll results are out. The meeting is also meant to express thanks to the party Legislators for having campaigned tirelessly for the coalition candidates in all the LS seats from the State.
