Hunsur: Stating that the JD(S)-Congress would launch a joint campaign for Mysuru-Kodagu LS seat Congress Candidate C.H. Vijayshankar, State JD(S) President A.H. Vishwanath has expressed confidence that Vijayshankar would win.
Addressing a press meet at Hunsur on Thursday, Vishwanath said District Minister G.T. Devegowda, Kodagu District Minister S.R. Mahesh, former CM Siddharamaiah, MLA Tanveer Sait, leaders G. Vijaya, Ganesh, MLC Veena Achaiah, former MLAs H.P. Manjunath, K. Venkatesh, MLA Mahadeva and other JD(S) and Congress leaders will launch the joint campaign on Apr. 1.
