Mysuru: In a bid to create awareness about heritage buildings, their importance, its conservation and on the events that took place in these buildings, Dasara Jawa Heritage Bike rally was taken out in city this morning. The Heritage Rally was organised jointly by the District Administration and the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage. About 50 Jawa and Yezdi bike owners, dressed in white T-Shirts and white caps, assembled as early as 6 am in Town Hall and the rally was flagged off by Deputy Director of the Department of Archaeology, Gavi Siddaiah. An autorickshaw, fitted with a public address system with two heritage experts seated inside it led the rally. The experts provided information about each heritage buildings and the need to conserve them.
