Bengaluru: The tug-of-war between Chief Minister Siddharamaiah and KPCC President Dr. G. Parameshwara to gain upmanship in the Congress party, has resulted in the postponement of the Janaashirvada Yatra, Which was scheduled to be launched from Dec.13. Following the postponement, the CM will launch Janaashirvada Yatra from Mar.1, 2018, a couple of months ahead of the 2018 Assembly polls. However, the Chief Minister’s tour of the State scheduled in December, will now only be related to the inauguration of Government schemes and projects. As per the schedule, the CM will tour the State from Dec.13 to Dec.30 across North Karnataka and from Jan. 3 to Jan.13, 2018 across the districts in South Karnataka.
