Mysore/Mysuru: Chamaraja Constituency MLA L. Nagendra on Wednesday directed the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials to issue title deeds to housing beneficiaries at Medar Block, Manjunathapura and Kukkarahalli areas of the city. The MLA held a meeting in this regard with MCC officials at the MCC’s Old Council Hall yesterday.
Addressing the meeting, Nagendra said that civic amenities have been provided to Medar Block, Manjunathapura and Kukkarahalli areas of the city. But still the MCC is not getting any revenues from these areas in the form of tax, due to non-issuance of title deeds to several Ashraya houses. As such, the officials should take measures for distributing title deeds, he said.
