Universities and colleges do not hold back when it comes to grading papers that are written by students on their campus because their reputation is on the line. If students are not performing at their best and their graduation percentage is low, future students might start to question the quality of the education on offer at that college or university.
An assessment method that will never go away when it comes to measuring how students are progressing is essays.
