Bengaluru: Golden Chariot, South India’s only luxury train, has officially been taken over by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The Golden Chariot, offers an insight into treasure trove of archaeological wealth and a kaleidoscope of culture for its esteemed guests.
Popularly called Palace-on-Wheels, the Golden Chariot covers important tourist destinations in Karnataka in the Southern Circuit. The seven nights, six days tour reaches Mysuru from Bengaluru and the tourists are taken around Mysore Palace, Kabini backwaters and forest safari. It also touches Hampi to showcase the Vijayanagar kingdom, touches Goa and the memorable trip ends in Bengaluru.
