Social Welfare Department has invited entries from Scheduled Class Co-operative Societies for financial assistance in the form of share capital to economically strengthen the society. The eligible Co-operative Society should have 70% of the members from SC and 30% from ST/Backward Classes and should have registered as per the stipulated Act. The share capital offered by the Government will be 50% of the shares contributed by the members or maximum of Rs.10 lakh. Application can be obtained from Joint Director, Dept. of Social Welfare, Jagjivan Ram Bhavan, Adipampa road, Paduvarahalli, Mysuru or the Taluk Assistant Director.
