Mysore/Mysuru: GSSSIETW Alumnae Association, Mysuru, had organised a one week International Webinar series on “Women Empowerment - Scope for Higher Education and Onsite Opportunities for Women” for the pre-final year students of the College recently. This series connected the alumnae of GSSSIETW, who have completed their higher studies abroad and working around the globe.
Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, participated on all days of the Webinar. The event was inaugurated by Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, who also acted as moderator. During the deliberations, he gave an insight into the importance of higher education and global opportunities that exist for women. He also gave an overview of the importance of alumnae towards growth of Institution and their contribution for maintaining NBA and NAAC accreditation standards in education.
