Mysuru: A District-level Inter-High School Kannada Debate Contest on the topic ‘Antararashtriya Gadisamasyege Yuddhave Parihara’ (War is the solution for International Border Issues) has been organised at Rotary West auditorium in Saraswathipuram on Aug. 6 at 9.30 am, under the aegis of Dinesh Coaching Centre.
Dixit Arogyadhama Director Dr. C.S. Anil Kumar will inaugurate. First three prize winners will be awarded Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 1,000 respectively and two consolation prize winners will be awarded Rs. 500 each. A team of two students can participate from each school — one should speak for and another against the topic given; 3+1 minute time will be given to each participant. Interested may register their names before Aug. 3 at the Coaching Centre in Kuvempunagar and must confirm participation before 9 am on Aug. 6 at the contest venue. Registration is free.
