Mysuru: Insulin injections and the anti-Rabies vaccine will now be available at affordable prices at ‘Jan Aushadhi’ outlets across the country including the city from Oct.9.
Speaking after releasing the two medicines at a private hotel here on Saturday, former Minister S.A. Ramdas said that there were only 500 Jan Aushadhi outlets in the country in 2012, but now there are 2,450 outlets with Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking the initiative to make quality medicines available at affordable prices to the poor.
