Last date for the installation of name boards in 60 percent Kannada language for traders, shopkeepers and others coming under MCC is Mar. 31. Failing to abide by the rule after Mar. 31 will attract Rs. 5,000 fine in the first phase, Rs. 10,000 in second phase, Rs. 20,000 in third phase and cancellation of Trade Licence, according to a press release.
