Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Inked in the Hills,’ a poetry dialogue between a Kodava author and a Kodava poet will be held at The Green Hotel, Chittaranjan Palace on Hunsur Road in city on Dec. 13 at 4.30 pm.

The poetry dialogue will be between two emerging Kodava voices — Dr. Ravin Chengappa, a Mysuru-based dentist and poet, whose recent work ‘Leaves of the Poet Tree’ and Subbaiah Nuchimanyanda Muthanna, a budding corporate lawyer and author of the collection of poetry ‘From Reverie To Requiem.’

Both writers, though working in different professional spheres, find a deep and lyrical convergence in the cultural memory of Kodagu — its mist, its hills, its silences and its people. Their poetry explores this shared heritage through contrasting personal journeys: one in the legal world, another in the medical sciences, yet both discovering language as a landscape to return home to.

The session will unfold as a poetic dialogue rather than a reading — two Kodava poets speaking to each other through verse, meaning and belonging, tracing the delicate thread between contemporary thought and ancestral identity. This event will also shed light on Kodava creativity and the quiet artistic spirit. For details, contact Mob:94458-80909.
