The Indian Men's team is all set to participate in the 18th Asian Games Invitational Tournament 5x5 Basketball Test Event Road to Asian Games 2018 being held in Istora Senayan Hall, Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, South Jakarta. This Tournament will be played in a league-cum-knockout format, the other participating teams are Indonesia, Thailand and Timor Leste. This is a test event for the 18th Asian Games that will be held from Aug.18 to Sept.2 in Indonesia. It will help Indian Men's team to gain some confidence before they face Jordan on Nov.23 in India for the second window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. India's first game is against Thailand on Feb.8 at 19:00 hrs (17:30 hrs IST).
