Mysore/Mysuru: The Police Department, which has the responsibility of protecting the public including senior citizens and women, should implement door-to-door Police system to work as people-friendly Police, said Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP) Dr. M.A. Saleem.
Chairing a meeting of all Sub-Division Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) and senior Police Officers at the Office of the City Police Commissioner in Nazarbad here yesterday, the DG&IGP instructed the Police to treat those coming to Police Stations with respect, hear their grievances with patience, obtain a written complaint and solve their problems or see that how can their problems be solve legally and take action accordingly.
