Hassan: Karnataka Chief Minister and senior BJP leader B.S. Yediyurappa on Friday ended frequent speculations about his continuance as the head of the BJP Government in the State, saying he will be the Chief Minister for the remaining period (two years) and there is no question of change.
Responding to a question by scribes here, Yediyurappa underlined that "I will remain as Chief Minister for another 2 years. There is no doubt about it. Yesterday, Party National General Secretary and in-charge of Party affairs in Karnataka Arun Singh has also made it clear about my continuation and hence the question of change does not arise."
