Mandya: Income Tax (I-T) officials continued their raids to detect unaccounted cash and cases of tax evasion. After raiding several contractors and officials a few days ago, the I-T officials targeted Hotel Royal Orchid at KRS in Srirangapatna taluk yesterday afternoon.
CM Kumaraswamy often checks into the hotel during his visits to Mandya district where his son Nikhil is contesting the LS elections. Even Nikhil stays in this hotel and has been conducting meetings of JD(S) legislators and party workers there.
