Napoklu (Kodagu): Huthri, the harvest festival of Kodagu, will be celebrated on Dec.3. As per tradition, members of Bhakta Jana Sangha, 13 Thakkas of the district and elders assembled at Padi Igguthappa Temple recently and decided on the date of the festival. Devara Kallacha Festival will be celebrated on Dec. 2. As part of Huthri festival in Rohini Nakshatra, ‘Nere Kattuva’ ritual will be done at the temple at 7 pm followed by ‘Kadiru’ at 8 pm and prasada distribution from 9 pm.
