Mysuru: Miscreants have burgled a house in the highly-secured RBI quarters in city and have decamped with gold ornaments weighing about 120 grams and silver articles weighing about 2 kg kept in the house. The burglary took place at the house of RBI employee Manjunateshwara, who had locked the house on Dec.6 and had been to the house of his relative along with his family. On Dec.9, the neighbours, who saw the door ajar, called Manjunateshwara over the phone and informed him. He rushed to his house and on inspecting, he found the gold ornaments and silver articles kept in the almirah missing and lodged a complaint at Metagalli Police Station. Metagalli Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
