The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited online applications from students (boys and girls) belonging to categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and SC/ST communities and other communities for admission to Post-Matric student hostels (general graduate course students only) run by the Department across Mysuru district. The annual income of parents of students from Category-1 and SC/ST communities should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh, while that for parents of students from Categories 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other Backward communities should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
