The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited applications from boys and girls belonging to categories-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and SC/ST and other communities for admission to General and Model Post-Matric Students Hostels in the district. The annual income of parents of students belonging to category-1, SC and ST must not exceed Rs.2.5 lakh and Rs.1 lakh for 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and OBC communities. The application forms must be submitted online — www.backwardclasses.kar.nic.in before July 12. For details, e-mail to bcwd.hostels@karnataka.gov.in
