Mysore/Mysuru: University of Mysore (UoM) Prasaranga Director Prof. M. Nanjaiah Honganur released the book titled ‘Hosagannada Sahitya Charitre: Panthagalu,’ co-authored by writers Dr. Hombaiah Honnalagere and Srinath B. Kambli, at a programme organised under the aegis of Karnataka Folklore Scholars Federation, at Kuvempu Auditorium in Prasaranga premises, Manasagangothri on Hunsur Road here recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Honganur said that while Halegannada focussed more on describing the administration of the erstwhile rulers, Hosagannada literature has etched in the minds of the common man.
