Mysore/Mysuru: N.V. Ramesh, Founder of Abhiruchi Balaga, released a book of poems titled ‘Hosa Belaku’ authored by senior poetess N. Shantakumari at a function organised by District Kannada Sahitya Parishat at Kannada Sahitya Parishat Bhavan in Vijayanagar here recently.
Speaking about the book, Ramesh lauded the efforts of Shantakumari in writing a book of poems. “This collection of poems, based on the incidents of her family and daily life is very special as every poem has come out of personal experience of the writer. The intensity of emotions expressed through words of the poetess really haunt the readers,” opined Ramesh and said that the author’s husband Prof. Nagaraj too has cooperated while writing the book.
