The Horticulture Department has invited applications from farmers for availing various benefits under Prime Minister Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY). The scheme, introduced with the theme of ‘More crop per drop’, has subsidies under different categories for installation of the drip irrigation system.

The beneficiaries must be farmers growing horticultural crops or having an intent of the same. The beneficiary farmers should continue growing horticultural crops even after installing the drip irrigation system. Also, the beneficiaries must be having their own water sources, with the available water being fit for drip irrigation. Further the beneficiaries must have their own source of power or devices to keep the drip irrigation system operational.
