The Higher Education Department has extended the holiday for teaching faculty serving in First Grade Colleges to July 15. Earlier, the leave was set to end on July 2. But as the COVID-19 pandemic has continued to spread unabated, the Department has extended the holiday till July 15 and the teaching faculty has been asked to report for duty on July 16, according to Under Secretary Sheethal M. Hiremath.
