Curtains fell on the four-day Hockey Mysore Invitation Men’s Tournament - 2024 with DYES Bengaluru emerging champions beating AGORC, Bengaluru 1-0 in the finals held at University of Mysore Hockey Grounds, here yesterday.
The final match witnessed a tough fight between both the teams with none of them giving opportunities for their rivals to score the goals. However, Bipin of DYES Bengaluru was successful in breaking the AGORC’s defence to score the lone goal of the match in the 24th minute. In the third place playoff, Hassan defeated Hockey Mysore 3-0 in the penalty shootout as the match ended in a draw with no team scoring a goal.
