Mysuru: A 78-year-old man, identified as Chinnaswamy of Jayalakshmipuram, who was riding a scooter, was killed, when a car rammed into his scooter and sped away near the CFTRI East Gate on KRS Road here yesterday morning.
Chinnaswamy was proceeding towards Dasappa Circle from Akashavani Circle, when a car knocked him down from behind at about 10.45 am and sped away. V.V. Puram Traffic Police personnel rushed the severely injured to K.R. Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead, according to the Police.
