Bringing cheer to thousands of State Government employees, who are holding additional posts as in-charge, the State Government on Wednesday issued an order hiking the allowance from the present 7.5 percent to 15 percent. The 15 percent allowance will be applicable to those employees who hold additional post for more than three months. The hike comes with retrospective effect from April 30, 2019. However, the hiked allowance (15 percent) will not be applicable to those who held additional post for any period of time before April 30, 2019.
