As part of Children’s Day celebration, Rotary Mysore North, in association with Inner Wheel Club of Mysore North, will be conducting a Healthy Baby contest at Ideal Jawa Rotary Auditorium on JLB Road on Dec. 10 at 10.30 am. Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Rotary Mysore North President L. Channabasavaraju said that the contest will be held under three categories — 0-1 year, 1-2 year and 2-3 years. JSS Hospital Paediatrician Dr. Divya Hosur and team will ask the parents of kids 10 questions on the health and care of their kids and also whether the kids are given prescribed vaccinations in time.
Pointing out that parents must carry the birth certificates of their kids, Channabasavaraju said that there will be three top prizes and two consolation prizes in each category. The prizes will be distributed at the valedictory to take place at 7 pm the same day, he said adding that the registration fee is Rs. 100.
