Bengaluru: The H.D. Kumaraswamy-led coalition government between the JD(S) and the Congress in Karnataka completed 100 days in office yesterday, a period marked by a focus on the yet-to-be-implemented farm loan waiver and keeping a lid on dissidence in the rank and file.
Kumaraswamy met Congress President Rahul Gandhi at his residence in New Delhi to “pay regards”. “Today I completed 100 days as the CM of Karnataka, so I am here (in New Delhi) to pay my regards to the Congress President. Rahul is happy with the way Karnataka government is running,” HDK told reporters. He said the government in Karnataka is “stable and functioning smoothly.”
