Mysuru: Rotary Ivory City Mysore has organised a talk on the topic ‘Infertility’ by Dr. Roopa Prakash, leading Gynaecologist, tomorrow (Aug. 1) at M.S. Subbalakshmi Hall, Mahajana High School, Jayalakshmipuram, at 7 pm.
Profile: Dr. Roopa Prakash is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, serving people of Mysuru for the last 26 years. She studied MBBS at KMC, Hubballi and passed out in 1982 with 3 Gold Medals. She did her DGO and MD from MMC in 1987. She worked as faculty at KMC, Manipal, from 1981-91. Later, she worked in various capacities at JSS Medical College, Mysuru, from 1992 to 2008 when she took voluntary retirement in 2008. She was Professor and Chief of Department of Obstetrics. Now she is attached to Kamakshi Hospital and Apollo BGS Hospital. Her field of interest is “High Risk Pregnanacy.”
