The State Government has extended its popular Gruha Lakshmi Scheme to sexual minorities (transgenders) and has directed to consider their identity cards while uploading their details into the related software. Necessary changes have been made in the software to enable this process. Sexual minorities can submit their applications by visiting District Women & Child Development Department by compulsorily providing personal details like ID card, passport size photo and Aadhaar card.
