Mysuru: The political crisis that has hit the State following the resignation of 16 MLAs from the ruling JD(S)-Congress Coalition and two independent MLAs, has had its impact on Mysuru too, with two important MUDA Council meetings getting cancelled.
The first meeting scheduled for July 4 was cancelled as the District Minister G.T. Devegowda took part in the day-long Janaspandana programme, the first of its kind in the city, at J.K. Grounds. The meeting was subsequently postponed to July 6, as July 5 was First Ashada Friday. But this meeting too did not take place reportedly due to the Minister’s other engagements and workload at MUDA, following which the meeting was rescheduled to July 11.
