Mysore/Mysuru: According to statistics, by 2100, the global temperature will increase in the range of 1.4 degree Celsius to 5.8 degree Celsius and it is going to change weather and will become a topic of discussion in the coming decades, opined Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore (UoM).

He was delivering his presidential address in a national-level webinar on 'Climate Change: Ecological Restoration and Socio-Ecological Sustainability” organised jointly by the Department of Environmental Sciences, UoM, Centre for Ecological Economics and Natural Resources and Institute for Social and Economical Changes (ISEC), Bengaluru, yesterday.
